Personally – when any relationship happens to end it’s for the best – for both involved. It’s actually a good thing. I’ve always been of the logic that time is precious, the true commodity of being human. That doesn’t mean I want to live forever, it just means I value time, so if relationships aren’t working out (romantic or otherwise) for whatever reason – it’s time to move on. And if it’s me being ‘dumped’ the same applies – they didn’t want me – why on earth would I want to waste time with (or pine over) someone who didn’t want me?! No point. Time is precious, we live and learn, make better choices next time and eventually (perhaps) find someone with whom we find equality, value and respect – love – nothing to do with surface level goings on. Or we don’t. Yet we always have those things for self regardless.
Just my take.
