What an intrusive thought that is. But, people do, they get bored of hearing it, drained by your struggle to heal. We don’t blame them, we agree. As empathetic deep feelers we often take responsibility, whether it’s ours to take or not. That’s on us, our challenge. We have every right to share, seek support, vent, talk, spill out, get things wrong, BE the victim – because sometimes we are. We all are. But there’s a limit. A moment where we do need to go inward and ask different questions. Questions about us. About why we feel the way we do. Think the way we do. Reparenting if we need too. Seeking support is an act of bravery, of self-development – its positive. We should never allow ourselves (or anyone else to make us) feel otherwise.
